New version is almost here! I just want to make a few general graphics improvements first. So far I've done a few nice things. I've reworked the contrast shaders to make textures and lights smoother and less harsh on the eye. I'm going for smoother, flatter surfaces and trying to remove some of the gritty noisyness to the textures. More of a clean, solid cartoony vibe. I've also improved the tiling of textures so they line up nicer. Also fixed a few bugs with lighting in the map editor so it more accurately resembles how it will look in game. Finally I've made a few tweaks to in-game objects like made the bullet trails more colourful and brightened all the players up a bit. I'll be doing more graphical stuff in future versions but these quick changes will be nice for now.

Here's a nice picture showing what i've done so far, the changes are subtle but I think they work well. The colour scheme just feels more balanced to me, and you can also see that the textures are tiling a lot better. The grid pattern on the pavement is a lot nicer and more "solid", whereas before the tiling would mess up and sometimes the edges would be razor thin and look weird.

Hmm what are you referring to? The pattern on the ground? That stuff should be fixed now yup :)
