Chemical Warfare: Today I finished coding all gameplay!!

Wooo baby, Chemical Warfare is almost done! Today I finished coding all the logic that has to do with gameplay. I've spent the last few days working on making the chemicals work, with today being entirely spent on Grey Goo. Grey Goo was considerably harder as it required lots of new interface and networking changes. But I've just got it working and now that all the chemicals are done this game mode is 100% playable. Points, compounds, menu, HUD, chemicals, EVERYTHING is done! All that remains are the graphics and sounds, and most of those are done too. I just need to find a neat way to display the chemicals on the map and do a wee bit of playtesting and then we are good to go! Basically Chemical Warfare will be out within a week.

Anyway as I spent all day working on Grey Goo, here is a picture of it in action. Excuse the Radiate graphic, it's just a template:

As you can see when you stand inside a grey goo arrows will pop up around you pointing to all the other grey goos you own. If you want to teleport to one of them all you have to do is hold ALT and click on one and after a 2s channeling time you'll teleport over there! You'll notice as well that in the minimap the target Grey Goo goes red so you can very easily see where you're going to teleport to. While channelling you won't be able to fire your weapon (same as Teleportation) but you WILL be able to move out of the channel and cancel it if you wish. You can also change targets mid-channel if you need to.

VERY excited to see how this works in action! Make sure you're here over the next few days so we can all playtest this when I release it!

Oh also I've fixed the forum so images don't go out of bounds anymore. Press CTRL+F5 to refresh your cache if it's not working yet.
